Millaine Longmore
Millaine is a Charles Sturt University alumnus who graduated with a Bachelor of Business in 2026, Millaine completed his degree part-time while working full-time and raising a young family. Inspired to pursue a career change after COVID-19 significantly impacted his music tutoring business, Millaine balanced family, work and study commitments to build a more stable future and successfully transition from music teaching into the business sector.
Carly Walker
Carly is completing the final year of her Bachelor of Nursing through the Taree Universities Centre (TUC). A mature-age student who entered Charles Sturt University without completing Year 12, her pathway to university has been anything but traditional. Beginning her career as a dispensary and Webster pack technician, Carly began studying Pharmacy then transitioned to Nursing after discovering a love for the hands-on, personal connections that are at the heart of patient care. Throughout her degree, she has balanced online study, work, clinical placements, and intensive residential schools while raising a young family.
